Higher Ed Policy Central is a web-based policy tool created for institutional policy research & analysis, policy design & development, and institutional benchmarking. Subscribers receive access to thousands of policies—with new policies added daily—from institutions of higher education in a user-friendly interface.

Users can add policies to My Saved Policies, view policies in text and image formats, and export saved policies to Microsoft Word. Search queries can be completed by institution name or policy text, with filters for State, Publish year, Public, Private non-profit, Private for-profit, 4-year, 2-year, and Less than 2-year.

This tool originated as a collaboration project with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers as a means to support policy development and benchmarking for AACRAO members and others.
